Quickbait Deep Slash Jointed - this lure comes in both deep and shallow diving models, both of which are equally at home in fresh or salt water. They are floaters and when at rest sit slightly on one side which gives them a very natural dying fish action.
Quickbait Shallow Slash Jointed - the shallow version is identical to the deep version in every way except for its diving depth which is around 60cm on the crank and around 1.4m on the troll.
Quickbait Shallow Slash - this is the unjointed version of the above, it rolls very well, has a classic minnow action, because it is unjointed it casts a little better than its jointed cousins. It also runs a little deeper because it is not being held up / slowed down by a moving tail. This will run down to about a 90cm on the crank and approximately 1.5m on the troll.
Quickbait Buster - this is a great shallow diving fat bodied lure. It has a very tight wiggle for such a fat lure, it casts very well and can be made to bulge just under the surface. This lure runs down to bearly 30cm on a slow crank and just about 60cm on a fast crank. It will run a little over a metre on the troll.
Here we have a new range of baits from Poland which are around 70% hand made. All are finished with high quality stainless steel split rings and VMC high carbon black nickel hooks.
We have actually tried these lures and we have found that their diving depths differ from the manufacturers statistics. Below we have entered "OUR RESULTS" from many hours of trials.
The deep diver will run down to around 3m on the troll and around 1.5m on the crank (bear in mind all diving depths can be affected by the thickness of line / braid and the speed at which they are worked).
The manufacturers claimed weight for this lure is 19g, we have weighed several and they all come out at 20g, not a massive difference but nevertheless a difference.
It has a slow rolling action and flashes its sides well.
Quickbait Tinto - this lure casts fairly well and has its own unique action. It can be made to around 60cm on the crank but when worked slowly can be made to bulge just under the surface. When trolled it will run down to around a metre. Its deep bodied design means it flashes a large profile and we have found that the better fish tend to hit it.
