I.T.T Beaver Tail: This is Bertus' interpretation of the latest American craze for these wide, flat tailed lures. They are intended to be fished on as light a jighead as possible, certainly not more than 14g
and "hopped" along the bottom, when the tail will follow the profile of the hopping action. We have however been informed that our English testers have simply been cranking these with heavier jigheads simply to
make the tail ripple behind the body, so it would seem like most things Bertus designs, you can't really fish them badly.
They come in two sizes labeled as 15 cm and 20 cm; They are however for the nit-pickers out there 145 mm and 215 mm respectively and weigh
in at 14g and 45g respectively.
Our advice would be 7 to 14g, 6/O for the smaller model and either 10g, 10/O or 17g 8/O for the larger model.
