Savagear LB Minnow kit: This kit comes as pictured with four shads in the colours as pictured, two already rigged on fluorescent painted "stand-up" jigheads that "Savagear" call "slider" jigheads.
The shads have a slot in the tail to accommodate either a rattle, a glow bead, a pellet or anything else you can think of to add attraction.
These are fatter than normal shads, with a more natural look to their dimensions which gives them a "struggling" sort of action.
We have found these work very well when worked high in the water column, maybe due to their profile or maybe due to the action, but fish will "come up" for them especially big perch.
They weigh 13g & the jigheads are 10g & look like 3/0 hooks.
Wake Flexifish: These are an articulated shad with a superb paddle tail action and an elongated body design, but Wake baits are far more famous for their method of painting / printing on their soft baits, unlike many other soft baits out there which you can rub the paint off with your fingers, Wake have discovered a method of bonding the paint firmly to the body, and it takes deliberate misuse to remove. Hence it will stand up to the toothiest of critters.
Flexi / Vibro Shads: These have been around for some considerable time and have been copied by dozens of Chinese companies, however you can’t beat the original. Unlike most shads these want running on a smaller hook, absolute maximum of 4/O so that the hook emerges from the back of the head and doesn’t interfere with the segmented section of the body. The segmented section not only creates greater movement but also causes disturbance and vibration in the water, these are one of the best Pollack catchers we have ever used. They’ve been around for almost two decades and frankly we haven’t found anything to beat them.
