Jerk Shads: These are the stiffest shads we have ever come across, fished like any other shad the tail barely moves unless you are over a wreck in a 4 knot tide. However these are not only superb for cod and pollack (their large size selecting the better fish), these are also superb in freshwater as a soft jerkbait, without weight they sink at approximately 6" per second and can be rigged in dozens of different ways to best suit your particular venue. With a 7g, 6/O jighead we can literally make these things "dance" in the turbulent water on the Thames weirpools where we have had some fantastic results. They will accept our Jigheads right up to 10/O. |
