MANN's GHOST: In the same family as the Phat Rat, this is what is called a hollow bait, a surface lure.The hook is masked by the soft hollow body and it is intended to be used in shallow weedy lakes, through the reeds or lily pads. The idea being it remains weedless until  the fish strikes depressing the highly flexible body and hooking itself

MANN'S SUPER RAT: This is also a hollow bait and a subsurface lure. Although the stinger hook in this instance is a purpose-made weedless hook with a tiny spring steel hair running to the inside of the barb and it is intended to be used in shallow weedy lakes, through the reeds or lily pads. The idea being it remains weedless until  the fish strikes depressing the weedguard on the hook. The Super Rat is negatively buoyant in water and can be fished extremely slowly to follow the contours of submerged weed beds.

The Froggy is not dissimilar in outward appearance and application to the Mann's Super Rattling Rat, it also is a sub-surface bait. However if you want this bait to stay on the surface, shake out the water after every cast. This lure was made for the Musky market so it is furnished with extremely powerful 4X double hooks and has a small attractor blade on the back. It is 4" long and weighs in at 22g and casts incredibly well for a hollow weedless bait. Not visible in the picture but all models have a red target area on the underside. Manufactured by Surecatch. Bold Frogs are also manufactured by Surecatch like the Froggies above but are slightly shorter in length and rounder in profile with a textured surface. The rounded profile gives them a more erratic bobbing action and makes them pop onto lily pads with absolute ease.
