Power Pro Braid
: What more can we say, one of the most famous braids on the market. This is a "spectra" fibre as opposed to "dyneema", therefore slightly thicker but harder wearing.Available in connected 100m spools up to a total of 1000m, see picture on right hand side.
Mumujiuri (Japanese) Chi Tian PE SuperBraid
: This ultra thin polyethylene super braid is available in fluorescent yellow & green on 500m spools. It is ultra thin, super strong and more abrasion resistant than dyneema with almost the same diameter, much thinner than the "spectra" fibre braids.We have spent a fortnight testing this 10 hours a day in the Gambia in 2015 & the one knot we tied at the beginning of the week is still attached to the same clip on the reel SEVEN YEARS LATER. While most people are changing their braid every six months even in fresh water, this braid has been to three countries, used in salt water & is still good.
This braid has performed outstandingly no matter how much abuse it gets and is incredibly reasonably priced.
Currently available in two colours and four breaking strains, more breaking strains to follow.
