These baits are hand poured in 3 layers and made in Belgium; They are made from the latest bio-degradable non-toxic plastic which will NOT eat your tackle box. They are so soft that you can leave them in your pocket screwed up and pull them out and they will fish instantly, these are truly the Rolls Royce of soft baits and yes, they also take freshwater predators. I personally have had zander to 90cm while testing and one member of the LAS has been devastating the Essex perch stocks.

Art Baits Flatfish

: For many years now we have been trying to develop a flatfish soft bait but either it moved like a dalek or the colours were just crap. So imagine our delight when at a European pike fair we bumped into Dutchman Han du Pau, one of the directors of Art Baits, who showed us these absolutely fantastically realistic flatfish. We were given a few samples to try and I and a couple of trusted members of the Lure Anglers Society put these through their paces for about 6 weeks, capturing all manner of species. As all experienced anglers will know, flatfish are preyed upon when small by just about every predatory species including their own kind. Small flounder and plaice have been used as bait for tope, smoothhound, spurdog and so on for decades, but now we have a realistic looking as well as a realistic moving artificial flatfish. We confidently predict this will be the must have soft bait of 2011 / 2012.

Hand Poured Soft Baits

Sovereign Super Wagtail: This is a fantastic hand poured large grub. It's tail is bigger than the Sandra. so more vibration & attraction.
The body is thick enough & long enough to accommodate hooks up to 10/0 with ease, or a multi hook arrangement of your own choice.
Their average weight is 74 g (being hand poured they vary between 72g & 75g)
They are 7 1/4" or 19cm long (as pictured) & have a full length when fished of 11" or 28cm

Sovereign Super Shad

: This is the latest in our range of hand poured soft plastics, made in one colour only as it is the most productive colour, WMV

Our 4" manns shads in this colour are our best seller of all time. This colour catches everything from perch to halibut & everything in between.

These shads are 8" tip to toe & weigh in at 44gms.

They have a lazy side to side body wobble & a very active tail action.

On a recent trip over a north Devon wreck these shads out fished sidewinders well over two to one. At the end of the day 42 Cod, Ling, Pollock to the shads & 17 to the sidewinders. (two anglers using each bait).

We have used them with jigheads, on gilling rigs, hopper rigs & "Mike Ladle" style with just a cranked hook in the surf & the Bass love them.

Being hand poured in the UK they are not as cheap as mass produced injection moulded shads but they catch fish !

Sovereign Super Squid

: The sovereign Super Squid is a great soft plastic bait for all sorts of applications.

It can be fished on a Jig Head, a flying collar, a hopper rig, trolled in a big game spread behind the boat & even free-lined with a big suicide hook off the rocks.

It is one of the most versatile soft baits we have come across in a long time.
We have even used them on an assist hook behind a "Wake(sa) chisel bait to great affect for GTs & the like.

These are hand poured exclusively for us in the UK; they are 15cm / 6" & weigh in at 24gms un-rigged.
