Mick Willis Signature Series These bait rods were designed in conjunction with Mick Willis a few seasons ago, received great reviews from the PAC but the factory that made the blanks for us went out of business. Recently a younger family member re-opened the factory and contacted us to see if we wanted to buy any more blanks. In this production we have 100 rods of each design.
Deadbait Wobbling Rod - Adventure Phantom This addition to the Mick Willis signature range was designed to be an all rounder. The low rider guides give you a much greater line control when wobbling a deadbait. This rod is slightly lighter than the other two rods in the adventure series at 2.5 lb Test Curve. It has all the same attributes including our patented line clip, soft enough to present a livebait yet still enough backbone for normal deadbaiting as well as wobbling.
The Adventure 390 and 360 are both 3lb test curve and are built along the same lines, one being 12' (3.6m) and one being 13' (3.9m). These rods are soft enough to cast a livebait without it sailing onto the other side of the lake minus the trace but with enough backbone to chuck a decent sized mackerel tail. There is not much more we need to say about these rods as you can look up the reviews in the PAC archives. They do however have a unique patented titanium reflective finish. They appear to take on the colour of the surrounding foliage. This finish is unique to these blanks from this one factory we use in Korea.

Mick Willis Custom Livebaiter This rod was designed primarily for livebaiting. It has a softer action than the other rods in the range. Built on an IM10 crossweave carbon blank with AAA braid, portuguese cork grips with medium height standoff guides and our patented line clip. This is the flagship rod of the range and unfortunately this will be the last production of this rod as reproducing the blanks on which this rod is built will no longer be financially viable.
