Herring Feathers

- We sourced these from infamous Singapore based company "SureCatch".
Used in the Indian Ocean & the South Pacific to catch small bait sized Bonito & other bait fish, these are the best selling bait feathers from Australia to Oman, where we first saw them.

We thought they would sort out the "Joeys" from the eating mackerel & we weren't wrong !
They are also our best "catching" Herring feathers accounting for some huge catches, way better than ordinary mackerel feathers.

These bait feathers are made from Fish skin, tinsel & lumo beads, and are like giant Sabiki's.
only the smaller mackerel take them, along with Herring in the autumn. They are great for launce (greater sandeel) when fished on the bottom, making these the perfect bait gatherer for the live baiter, no matter what you eventual quarry may be.

Rigged on Japanese size 14 Hooks (our size 2), these hooks are nickel plated have a curved short shank for better hook-ups & are made of 2X wire for strength, they have a forged ultrapoint with a micro barb.

All of which ads up to quick penetration, therefore better hook-up rate & minimal damage to your live bait, which means they last longer.

Killer Creveta Shrimps

These Grauvell rigs are some of the best shrimp rigs on the market today & they have accounted
for just about every specie that is catchable around the British isles, from bait fish to squid these will catch them.
They are however also very good for catching Herring & we have them in two sizes & two colours for you to choose from.

Size 2s are rigged on 0.035mm & 1/0s are rigged on 0.40mm, both are 4 hook rigs & are 125cm long.
They are designed to be dropped from a boat, jetty or off the rocks, but can be cast with a small weight (max 1.5oz/40g).
They are NOT designed to be used on a beach-caster with large weights, they WILL "Crack off" if used in this way.

Used correctly they will catch all sorts of bait & other keeping fish for the table.

Titan 5 hook shrimp rig

, also from Grauvell is slightly longer at 135cm, we have only one colour but we have it in two sizes. like the killer rigs above these are very good for catching Herring & of course bait fish.
Both are rigged on 0.35 mono & have 5 hooks in natural/lumo. available in sizes 6 or 4 (UKsize).
