Slow Jigs
Kali Kunnan X-Way Metal Jigs
The ultra Flash is just the first in an ever growing range of Casting & slow jigs from Spanish company Kali Kunnan.The entire range is well manufactured with great paint, luminous markings (except for the blue & silver ones) , holographic foil & in a fantastic range of colours to catch all predators & are all shown front view(left) & back view (right).
This model is available in the four colours shown, they are 94mm in length & weigh in at 80g.
As you would expect they cast very well, straight & accurate and actually rising in to a strong wind due to the aerodynamic shape of this model.
Originally made for Tuna in the Mediterranean these jigs will catch any of the usual predators around our coast, & they are
dynamite for bass in the surf, trolled over reefs for Pollock & jigged over shallow inshore wrecks for Cod & ling.
They can of course be re-fitted with bigger hooks, single "inline hooks" or "assist hooks".

Kali Kunnan X-Ray BI-SIDE
The BI-SIDE:-is the second in our X-WAY range Although it is called "X-RAY" BI-SIDE, probably because they are all luminous !?!?This model is longer & thinner in profile 110mm & weighs in at 60g.
Just like it's counterparts in the range, it flies very well & is a great surf lure for Bass.
It flutters well when jigged over rock & reef & we have had some surprise catches, Bream, wrasse, Gurnard & used "hopper rig" style we even caught Place on the drift.
We have a lot of shallow wrecks here in Devon & it's great for picking off the larger fish with it's erratic jigging action.
This lure would benefit from a hook change if you are going after big fish as the hook is quite small, but it was deigned for the Mediterranean !
Like all the lures in the range it can be retro fitted with "in-line" singles, "Assist hooks" or just bigger trebles.
Kali Kunnan X-Way GLOW POINT
The GLOW POINT is another compact casting jig which is 86mm long & weighs in at 80g & all but one are lumo.It is easy to cast & rolls from side to side when retrieved through the water, it is another great surf lure & catches all the usual suspects.
It comes ready rigged with a single "assist hook" which is a great favorite of many who cast jigs as it can be hitched up either hook up or hook trailing.
You can of course re-rig it to suit your own preference with a large treble, or "in line" singles.
Please note the Blue/Silver one is not Lumo.
Kali Kunnan X-Way SLOW DEEP
This is the biggest in this range at 115mm & 100g & all are lumo for greater attraction.This Jig lends itself to all uses, it will hit the mid water wrecks & it can be cast in the surf or trolled over shallow reefs & rocks.
It flies very well & is heavy enough to be used with a beach caster to get that extra distance when surf casting.
In deeper water over structure / wrecks it has a really nice "fluttering" action & off the rocks I have seen Bass & Pollock streak in from 30yds away & nail it.
It obviously has a great presence in the water to attract fish from that far away & has proved to be the top seller.
Like others in this range it comes rigged with an assist hook & can be attached from either end depending whether you like to fish hook up or down.
You can of course re-rig it to suit your own preference with a large treble, or "in line" singles.
Kali Kunnan X-Way SLOW DEEP 60
is the little brother of the slow deep 100 above but is 98mm in length & weighs in at 60g, it is smaller & lighter but most of the details remain the same.All are lumo for greater attraction & it can be cast in the surf, jigged over shallow wrecks or trolled over shallow reefs & rocks.
It fly's very well & is in the casting range of many Bass & light surf casting rods.
Just like it's bigger brother in deeper water over structure/wrecks it has a really nice "fluttering" action & off the rocks I have seen Bass & Pollock streak in from 30 yards away & nail it.

Kali Kunnan X-WAY Bi Slow:- This jig is currently only available in the one colour & is one of the few that is not luminous.
It's 89mm long & weighs 80g.
Like all the jigs in this range this one flies well & gets down amongst the fish quickly & has a nice erratic action.
This model comes with a fairly large hook & is well balanced, this particular model can be cast from either end depending on whether you want it to come back head up or head down.
As pictured it trolls well, but I personally prefer it with the hook on the other end for surf casting.
