Ugly Duckling 7JS
: Another fantastic lure from the Ugly Duckling range. The 7JS was specially produced for Sovereign Superbaits as a shallow runner ideally suited to our waters here in the UK. As the name suggests this lure is 7cm long and we have already established that it is a shallow runner plus it weighs just 10g. On a steady crank it will run down just a couple of feet. With a little more speed or on the troll it will make around seven feet. The body configuration gives it a true “wounded fry” action. Like most of the Ugly Duckling range its deeper diving cousin was originally designed for the large Salmonoids that run the rivers of the Balkans. This same lively action makes this lure one of the best bass lures on the market today.
