The Jointed Victim
is an absolutely fantastic Bass lure and as close as you are going to get to the old jointed "Storm Thunder Stick" unless you trawl ebay & pay a fortune for one.This lure runs about 1'/30cm under the surface on a moderate retrieve with a very lively but crippled fish action, which any predator finds irresistible.
We have had all sorts on this lure, leerfish, Jacks, Barracuda, Black Trigger fish & on a flat day in Costa Rica I even had a small Rooster fish.
It comes furnished with over sized VMC 9645NI (nickle coated) trebles in size 5.
While some colours may not be your first choice for bass, all colours below have accounted for Bass of various sizes, both in the UK & in Europe.
This lure is intended to be worked fairly slowly over rocks and weed beds and cast from the shore or boat/Kayak. It is not intended for working in heavy surf as it will roll over. Also if cranked or trolled at high speed the lure will skip over the surface and possibly even spin, although i have been told it works fine behind a Kayak when moving from place to place.
Use it for the purpose it was designed and in the manner it was designed and you will have some outstanding sport. We have also had success in fresh water with Pike, Perch and Trout.

Another fantastic little lure from Serbia. It casts well, will run down to around 3’ on the crank and around double that on the troll (depending how thick your line and how big your clips are).It has an enticing action very reminiscent of one of those triple tailed goldfish, slightly head down with a very active tail. We have had success with it on all forms of predators, so this lure is obviously a good candidate for the ultra-slow retrieve as it loses none of its action at slow speeds.

Salmo Thrill
: This lure was originally designed to catch an Eastern European freshwater sport fish called “Asp”. This fish is highly predatory, toothless and somewhat resembles in both shape and fighting ability the Tarpon. When we tried the samples of this lure on the estuary Bass of Sussex last summer, out of six consecutive casts, five fish were landed and one threw the hook.
This lure has very strange action, it is best described as a sub-surface skitter. If left after casting it sinks quite quickly and the vane simply makes it wobble from side to side and move erratically in the water, it doesn’t cause it to dive, it is kept down by its density. Its action is the best imitation of a panic stricken, fleeing bait fish we have ever seen. This lure is set to become the next red hot Bass lure, highly recommended, not to be missed. Prices....

: These fantastic lures are made in Serbia by a guy that was taught by the manufacturer of Yogi lures & in some ways his lures are even better.ANTAX lures are made in a short range of colours using templates & jigs to ensure that, although completely hand made, they are as close as possible to the last & next lure made, with little or no differences unlike the artisan yogis. These lures also come in a box, unlike yogis & will dive to a uniform depth.
This particular model, the Riki, will dive to 5m on the troll but a slower bank retrieve will see them run as shallow as 0.4m
They cast very well for a 10g balsa lure & because 95% of the body weight is the front, it is very accurate & can be put right on the spot !
The 90/10, 95/5 design is typically Balkan where 90% on the target species are Salmonides. This design gives the lure a very tight & enticing "wiggle", deadly for trout & salmon.
But equally good for perch, pike, sander, chub & bass, they currently come in the six colours shown.
